Il bando della nuova edizione del Premio Energheia Libano rivolto ai ragazzi del Paese dei Cedri, promosso dall’Associazione Energheia di Matera e dalla Dante Alighieri di Tripoli_Libano per la sezione narrativa e fumetti.

La questione del silenzio nella letteratura, così come nella vita, è molto importante e ha bisogno di molta attenzione. Siamo circondati da troppe parole, tutti parlano di continuo: la televisione, il cinema, i conferenzieri. Tutto ciò è molto pericoloso perché il cervello e l’anima hanno bisogno di un certo tempo per riflettere, hanno bisogno di distanza dalle cose per avere uno sguardo più lucido. Mentre invece, in questo vulcano di parole, non abbiamo tempo per concentrarci. Prendersi un periodo di silenzio è molto importante per il pensiero dell’uomo, perché ogni grande opera d’arte o letteraria o di musica è stata creata nel silenzio. 1 Prix Energheia Liban – édition 2012 Notre Concours de Nouvelles – lancé au début de mars 2011 – s’est terminé avec succès. Les nouvelles gagnantes publiées dans l’édition 2011 sont dans l’ordre:

1° The Enlightened Heart par Dina Makkouk

2° (ex aequo) National Enemies! par Nisreen Naja et Amore materno amore eterno par Noelle Zarifeh

L’association culturelle italienne Dante Alighieri de Tripoli, l’association culturelle Energheia de Matera (ITALIE), en collaboration avec l’Institut Français de Tripoli, la Fondation Safadi et le British Council, sous le patronage de la Région Basilicate, organisent le “Prix Energheia Liban – édition 2012” 1. Les participants doivent présenter une seule nouvelle inédite, à sujet libre, en langue italienne, anglaise ou française et de sept pages maximum, 25 lignes par page.

2. La nouvelle doit être remise ou envoyée, en fichier électronique en format Microsoft Word sur disquette ou CD et en deux exemplaires dactylographiés, non signés, avec une note comprenant les données personnelles de l’auteur, à l’adresse suivante: Società Dante Alighieri – Centre Imad Wolley, face à l’Hôpital Mazloum, P.O. Box 445, Tripoli (Liban).

3. Un Comité de lecture, choisi par les Promoteurs du Prix de chaque pays participant, évaluera les nouvelles parvenues pour en sélectionner cinq. Ces cinq nouvelles seront soumises au jugement du Jury en Italie.

4. Les organisateurs se réservent le droit de publier les nouvelles retenues et de les reproduire sans rien devoir aux auteurs, sauf le respect du texte dans son intégralité.

5. Tout ce qui n’est pas mentionné dans ce règlement, dépend entièrement de la décision des organisateurs du Prix. Prix Energheia Liban – édition 2012 –

Section bandes dessinées

L’association culturelle italienne “Dante Alighieri” de Tripoli, l’association culturelle Energheia de Matera (ITALIE), en collaboration avec l’Institut Français de Tripoli, la Fondation Safadi et le British Council, sous le patronage de la Région Basilicate, 2 organisent le “Prix Energheia Liban – édition 2012 – Section bandes dessinées”.

1. Les participants doivent envoyer une histoire racontée en bandes dessinées, inédite, à thème libre, en italien, anglais ou français, de 10 planches au maximum, en noir et blanc ou en couleurs, en utilisant n’importe quelle technique manuelle, avec une note comprenant les données personnelles de l’auteur, à l’adresse suivante: Società Dante Alighieri – Centre Imad Wolley, face à l’Hôpital Mazloum, P.O. Box 445, Tripoli (Liban).

2. Un comité d’experts, choisi par les promoteurs du Prix, évaluera les bandes dessinées présentées pour en choisir trois qui seront soumis au jugement final du Jury en Italie.

3. Toutes les bandes dessinées finalistes seront publiées. Energheia se réserve le droit de publier les bandes dessinées présentées, sans rien devoir aux auteurs sauf le respect de l’intégrité du texte. Pour tout ce qui n’est pas mentionné dans ce règlement, les décisions reviennent aux organisateurs. Les sujets et les bandes dessinées, publiés ou non par l’association, restent la propriété exclusive des auteurs respectifs. Tous les jeunes de 16 à 28 ans peuvent y participer. La nouvelle ou la bande dessinée doit être remise ou envoyée avant le 30 juin 2012. Le Jury du Prix désignera le lauréat qui gagnera un voyage par avion et un séjour à Matera (Italie) pour la Cérémonie de la remise des prix, prévue au mois de septembre 2012.

3 Prix Energheia Liban – Edition 2012 Our Short Story Competition – launched in early march 2011 – came to a successful close. The winning published stories for 2011 edition (in assessment order) are:

The Italian Cultural Association “Dante Alighieri” of Tripoli and the Italian Cultural Association Energheia of Matera (ITALY), in collaboration with Institut Français of Tripoli, Safadi Foundation and British Council, under the patronage of the Region Basilicata, announce the literary competition “Prix Energheia Liban – Edition 2012” 1. Writers can participate to the competition with just one unpublished short story, written in Italian, English or French language, on a freely chosen subject, no longer than seven pages (25 lines per page).

2. The story must be sent or handed in two typed copy and in a soft copy on Microsoft Word format, not signed, together with a letter containing the author’s name, age and address (telephone number and e-mail) to the following address: Società Dante Alighieri – Imad Wolley centre, facing Mazloum Hospital, P.O. Box 445, Tripoli (Lebanon).

3. A committee, appointed by the organizers of the competition, will read and evaluate the stories in order to indicate the best five to be submitted to the Italian Jury for final judgement.

4. Prix Energheia Liban has the unrestricted right to publish and reproduce the winning stories (including runners up), in the original language and in translation.

Comics Section

The Italian Cultural Association “Dante Alighieri” of Tripoli and the Italian Cultural Association Energheia of Matera (ITALY), in collaboration with Institut Français of Tripoli, Safadi Foundation and British Council, under the patronage of the Region Basilicata, announce the competition “Prix Energheia Liban – Edition 2012 – Comics Section”.

1. All young cartoonists can submit an unpublished comics, on free subject, in Italian, English or French language. Comics submissions must be not more than 10 pages, using any kind of manual technique, both color and black-and-white pages will be accepted. Entries must be sent or handed together with a letter containing the 4 author’s name, age and address (telephone number and e-mail) to the following address: Società Dante Alighieri – Imad Wolley center, facing Mazloum Hospital, PO Box 445, Tripoli (Lebanon).

2. A panel of comics experts chosen by the promoters of the Prize, will evaluate the artworks in order to choose the best three to be submitted to the Italian Jury for final judgement.

3. The jury will select the winner of comics competition. The winning entry and the two second prize winners will be published. Prix Energheia Liban has the unrestricted right to publish and reproduce the winning stories (including runners up). It’s up to the organizers of the competition to decide about anything which is not included in the present regulations. The subjects and the comics, whether published or not by the association shall remain exclusive property of the authors. Writers and cartoonists must be 16-28 years old. The closing date for entries is June 30th 2012. The Jury will declare the winner story. The author awarded the first prize will have plane ticket and accomodation expenses paid in order to take part to the final ceremony that will be held in Matera (Italy), in September 2012.
